The blade in the dark follows the story of four friends with different ambitions. Three are to encourage young entrepreneurs smuggling cash into Tirana, Albania, and plans to forget to turn a war bunker into a fashionable new restaurant on the outskirts of the city. But the fourth is a desperate person who wants to do everything he needs to arrange a dangerous debt with a ruthless local mafia chief. When a group hunts one at a time, a sawmill’s cool story begins to unfold, revealing a twisted tale of violence, revenge and madness. Without escaping and nowhere to hide, friends must face their deepest fears and combine the truth before they become another victim.
